![]() Monday, 12th Feb 2007 19:33 Town have confirmed that Salthill Devon striker Vinny Faherty has returned for a second trial spell, as first revealed by TWTD last week. The 19-year-old has been given clearance to play for the reserves against Luton at Portman Road on Tuesday afternoon (KO 2pm). First team coach Bryan Klug told the club site: "Vinny played for us in a friendly against Millwall a few weeks back and scored a couple of goals and we've got him back for another look." Faherty was a member of the Salthill Devon team which won the Eircom U21 League in December, becoming the first club without a senior side to win the competition. The Irishman, who is back with Town for a week, was previously here in mid-January when he netted a brace in a 3-1 victory over Millwall at Playford Road, fellow trialist Joe Francis from Woodbridge Town scoring the other goal.
