Academy trio Josh Carson (pictured), Cormac Burke and Rory McKeown won their second Northern Ireland U17 caps on Friday as their side drew 1-1 in a friendly in Greece. Midfielders Carson and Burke started the game, while full-back McKeown came on as a sub.

Previously, Carson scored in last Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with the Greeks. The friendlies were warm-ups for the UEFA U17 Championships in Andorra later this month.

The Northern Irish youngsters face the hosts, Malta and Holland in the tournament which starts on October 22nd.

Unused sub: Gareth Deane - Lisburn Youth.
