![]() Thursday, 10th Dec 2009 13:59 Singer/songwriter and Sir Bobby Robson Stand season ticket holder Asa Jennings will be giving away 500 CDs before Saturday’s game with Blackpool to thank Town fans for their support during 2009. ![]() As well as releasing debut album My Own Worst Enemy in 2007, which has since sold in over 30 countries, he also wrote Call Upon The Beat, which was inspired by Town and England legend Kevin Beattie. Former Ipswich star Fabian Wilnis approached Asa in the summer to pen a new club song and Let's Go To Town has since been played before home games this season at Portman Road. Asa explained: “Town fans have purchased both singles in good numbers and many have also since purchased my album and followed me all over the place, coming to gigs. With that in mind, and it being Christmas, I wanted to show my appreciation to them for their support over the last 12 months.” Copies of Call Upon The Beat will be given out by the Alf Ramsey statue, near to the TWTD pitch before the game from around 2pm.
