![]() Tuesday, 14th Sep 2010 08:10 Midfielder Luciano Civelli will continue his comeback from his multi-ligament injury when the reserves face Colchester at Maldon on Wednesday (KO 7pm). The Argentinian has been out of first team action since suffering the injury in March 2009. Boss Roy Keane says Civelli is now making good progress: “He’s doing fine, he’s playing catch-up like Damien and Connor, and as Shane O'Connor will in the next few weeks. Quinner’s doing a bit of jogging this week. “Luca will be involved in the reserves on Wednesday night. I still think it’s too early to try and involve him in the first team just yet. He needs a bit more time, but he’s doing well. “Medically, he’s fine and he just needs to build up that confidence in his leg and he’ll only get that by playing minutes, not in training matches and training sessions, it’ll come from getting games and getting some tackles, people tackling him. “Last week he played really well in the first 45 minutes for the reserves and he might get an hour or maybe 70 minutes on Wednesday night.” Civelli is likely to be joined at Maldon by Connor Wickham, Damien Delaney and Mark Kennedy, depending on how much of today’s first team game against QPR they play.
