![]() Tuesday, 6th Sep 2011 21:53 David Stockdale, Tamás Priskin and Josh Carson were all unused subs for their full international sides during this evening’s Euro 2012 qualifiers, while Town assistant manager Chris Hutchings was spotted taking in a reserves game. Loan keeper Stockdale was cover for Joe Hart as England scraped a 1-0 victory over Wales at Wembley, while Town target Danny Collins was amongst those on the Welsh bench not called upon. Priskin was left out as Hungary won 2-0 in Moldova and Carson was similarly inactive as Northern Ireland were hammered 4-1 in Estonia. Carlos Edwards and Trinidad and Tobago face Barbados in Bridgetown overnight, while Jaime Peters and Canada take on Puerto Rico in Bayomón. Meanwhile domestically, Town assistant manager Chris Hutchings was spotted watching Norwich’s reserves lose 4-2 to West Brom at their Colney training ground this afternoon. Both sides named very young teams with Baggies keeper Luke Daniels perhaps the most obvious target if Hutchings was eyeing a specific player. The 23-year-old former England U19 international, West Brom’s third choice, has previously spent time on loan at Motherwell, Shrewsbury, Tranmere, Charlton, Rochdale and Bristol Rovers, having been an academy player with Manchester United. Town are on the lookout for a keeper as cover for Stockdale, who could be recalled to parent club Fulham at 24 hours’ notice, with Paul Jewell favouring a younger glovesman for the role.
