![]() Saturday, 29th Oct 2011 19:40 On-loan midfielder Jamie Griffiths picked up the first red card of his career five minutes from the end of Plymouth’s 2-1 defeat at Cheltenham this afternoon. The 19-year-old, in his second month with the now-out-of-administration Pilgrims, caught Robins defender Luke Garbutt with a late tackle and was shown a straight red by referee Jon Moss. Griffiths, who was making his fourth start of his spell with the League Two table-proppers in addition to five appearances as a sub, later said sorry to Argyle supporters via Twitter: “Absolutely gutted. Would just like to apologise too all the Plymouth fans. You have no idea how devastated I am!” Elsewhere, Jaime Peters played the full 90 minutes at right-back as his Bournemouth side won 3-1 at Preston North End, his seventh appearance for the League One Cherries. Andy Drury also played the full game for Crawley as they drew 1-1 at home to Accrington Stanley. The midfielder has now made eight appearances for the League Two side but is yet to add to his debut goal.
