Collins Withdraws from Wales Squad

Defender Danny Collins has withdrawn from the Wales squad for their friendly against Norway in Cardiff on Saturday after his fiancée gave birth to a son, their first baby.

The 31-year-old, who is on loan from Stoke until after the Barnsley game on December 10th, has previously won 12 full caps.

Congratulations to Danny and his fiancee. One of our consistent performers, but not even he can continue to save us. Defensively we are very poor - what happens when he leaves I dread to think. I am sure PJ has a Plan B ...
