While Keith Andrews will be looking to put the Republic of Ireland on their way to Euro 2012 qualification when they take on Estonia in the first leg of their play-off in Tallinn this evening, a number of other Town players will also be in international action over the weekend.

Carlos Edwards will be out to win his 81st cap and will be chasing his fifth international goal when Trinidad and Tobago face Guyana in a 2014 World Cup qualifier in Georgetown. A defeat to the Golden Jaguars will see the Soca Warriors make an early exit from the qualification process.

Keeper David Stockdale will again probably not be given his chance to make his England debut when Fabio Capello’s side take on the might of Spain at Wembley on Saturday (ITV1 4.45pm).

Tamás Priskin will hope to add to his 36 full caps and eight international goals when Hungary are up against Liechtenstein in a friendly this evening.

Young keeper Cody Cropper, 18, and the US U23s are up against an Azerbaijan U21 side this afternoon. The game is part of a training camp currently being held in Duisburg, Germany.

Josh Carson and the Northern Irish U21s aren’t in action until next Tuesday when they take on Serbia in a European U21 Championship qualifier in Coleraine. Central defender Danny Collins pulled out of the Wales squad earlier in the week.

Meanwhile, Town assistant manager Chris Hutchings and coach Sean McCarthy watched the England U21s beat Iceland 5-0 at Colchester’s Weston Homes Community Stadium last night. Manchester United striker William Keane, who Paul Jewell recently denied was a Blues target, was an unused sub.

Elsewhere, ex-Town keeper Shane Supple, who captained his Gaelic football team St Brigid’s to their second ever Dublin Senior Football Championship title on Sunday, could be given the chance to return to the professional game by Shamrock Rovers, according to reports in Ireland.

Supple’s former Town boss Jim Magilton is currently the assistant manager of the Europa League—qualifying Dublin-based club.

Good luck Keith, play well but not too well so bigger clubs see you ;-) International break should also do the blues some good as well, get their breathe back, reassess and then beat the hell out of Forest. Also would it be possible for someone out there to re-jig the words to "I guess that's why they call it the blues" to fit around Ipswich? Just a thought
