Town are offering fans a chance to become part of the fabric of the club by buying a personalised brick in the Ipswich Town Wall, a new area on the Sir Bobby Robson Stand.

Bricks can feature a supporter’s name or perhaps be bought to record a special birthday, an anniversary, a wedding, a new baby or to remember loved ones.

Another money making scheme exploiting the fans. With the amount many of us have spent on season tickets over the years, they should allocate most of them for free...

Bah humbug!

The wall idea is great, my suggestion is put sonianblue behind it so he can be in his own little world and not bother the grown-ups

Hey strikes and grumpyoldman, two good posts, does seem as though any chance to make money out of supporters, but it's nothing new been going on for years at every club, after all it is now a business , I wish the so called supporters posting stupid remarks on here would realise how pathetic they are, all for intelligent debate and opinions .... It's a bit much when the club don't even own the ground. What are they selling ?

A wall of lame, fantastic. Didn't the club consider this when the new stands were built, but decided it was too tacky?

Is this timed to coincide with any meaningful event or anniversary? That's what these things are usually for. It doesn't take a genius to work out what the mo£iva£ion is here...

I have supported things like this in the past but I'm thoroughly disillusioned with the way the club is run, we are still living in the past, poor management, poor coaching, quite happy to accept 2nd best or average, shrug our shoulders and say oh well, its time the club was shaken up from top to bottom, I will not give them another penny, this is the end for me as far as ST's go, just a complete and utter waste of money.
