Barnsley Comeback Wins Award Thursday, 15th Dec 2011 11:18
Last week's extraordinary comeback from 2-0 down to win 5-3 at Barnsley has won the Blues the League Managers Association's F&C Thames River Performance of the Week Award.
A panel made up of LMA chairman Howard Wilkinson, ex-Town boss Joe Royle, Sir Alex Ferguson, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry made the decision to hand the gong to the Blues.
Paul Jewell will receive a specially engraved crystal football in a presentation to be screened on this weekend’s Sky Soccer Saturday.

Great stuff, can only boost confidence further. Lets hope PJ puts it in the middle of the dressing room before kick-off and tells the players to go out and get another one!

All the ITFC supporters that made the trip should get a framed certificate to say ' I was there' at probably the greatest second half comeback in the annuls of footballing history.

Such a 'prestigious award' - would definately make up for being relegated if we manage that to....... !!!!!!!!!!

Hope we have room in the trophy cabinet. I guess we can shift along the Texaco cup and move the certificate for last year's best pies.
