Monday, 16th Jan 2012 12:44

The AGM of the North of England Branch of the Supporters Club will be held at The Brewery Tap, Station Approach, Leeds prior to Saturday’s match at Elland Road. Open to all Town fans, the meeting runs from 12.30 to 2pm and includes a question and answer session with chief executive Simon Clegg and former striker Alex Mathie, while branch president Kevin Beattie will also be in attendance.

Following the game, it’s back to the Brewery Tap where Beattie will be the guest for a meal at 7pm which will be followed by a beer tasting at 8.30pm. The event officially finishes at 9pm, although it may be unofficially extended.

The meal is free to members of the branch, £5 for lapsed and new members and £10 for guests, with the beer tasting costing £5 (includes tasting plus one pint).

For those attending please note that the venue has asked for colours to be kept as inconspicuous as possible whilst at the bar. The AGM is free of charge, although there will be a collection for charity.

Could those planning to attend either event can they let Pat McAdam know as he needs numbers (and a menu choice for the dinner) by email: chairman@itfcnorth.co.uk.

Will Jordan Rhodes make an appearance, as he's a local?

Is he still not up to Championship level Mr Clegg?

Its also fairly local to PJ when he is at home;so as he will be up there perhaps he can pop home and get his missus as he often refers to her;bit like Arthur Daley and 'Her Indoors'.Would be interesting to see what she is like!

I'll go just to see Mathie.

At £35, I shan't be at the game though, despite it being walking distance from my house. Shame.

It's an outrageous price for the match - £34, £24 for children!
