![]() Friday, 9th Jun 2006 16:51 Town have confirmed that former Norwich coach Steve Foley has joined Jim Magilton's backroom staff. Foley will coach at all levels from academy through to the first team. Foley told the club site that Town's new boss won him over despite the former Colchester players having other options on the table: "It's no hidden secret that I had other choices, but as soon as I spoke to Jim his enthusiasm for the future here just sold the job to me. "I love the game and liked what he was saying about how he sees the team playing and developing and that was very important to me. "I know what Jim and Bryan Klug expect from me and I can't wait to get going. This is a terrific football club and I'm really excited about being part of it here. "You can tell there is a real buzz about the place and Jim's enthusiasm is overwhelming. I just wish pre-season started tomorrow." Steve McCall is expected to be confirmed as chief scout in the new set-up.
