TWTD Questionnaire 2021/22

Q6 Player of the 2021/22 season?

Last summer this category was won by 'None of the above' after a thoroughly underwhelming campaign from all concerned.

Despite a similar mid-table finish, there were plenty of laudable individual performances but it comes as no surprise to anyone that Wes Burns has carried off yet another gong.

The Welshman's excellent campaign has seen him become a fans' favourite and a talismanic figure. If Burns is missing from the side or is having an under-par game, Town tend not to have a particularly good afternoon or evening.

A Wales debut over the next few weeks will, ahem, cap a memorable season.

Janoi Donacien's Town career had had more downs than ups until this season when Kieran McKenna found a role which suits him perfectly and second spot is well deserved.

Christian Walton looks to be the best keeper Town have had since Richard Wright, dare we say it, even better than Bartosz Bialkowski, while Luke Woolfenden's Blues career has been rejuvenated under McKenna and skipper Sam Morsy led by example throughout the season.

I actually think that Kelvin Davis was the best keeper i have seen at Ipswich (yes even better than Richard Wright).....until now. I genuinely think that Walton is the best all round keeper i have seen at the club. Yep. That good.
