I feel 2013/14 has been a successful season full of hope, optimism and disappointment.

First of all I feel this season was thought by most as a building season, even though I know some people thought there was always a chance of the play-offs. Then as the season progressed people really started to believe that this could be our season.

Sadly it wasn't to be, as I believe that draws at home to Bournemouth and Notts Forest and the away loss at Watford really showed we were just a step off making the dream land of the top six.

I feel with a few new signings and a bit more luck 2014/15 could actually maybe be our season? In my opinion we need to get these things!

1. I feel we need a creative midfielder just like little Jonny Williams. I feel we lack creativity in the midfield and we don't score/assist goals from the middle of the park. We need to get a permanent signing, who creates goals, scores goals and can be a game-changer!

2. I feel wide areas if somewhere where we lack pace,ability and skill. In my opinion we need to get a couple of quick wingers with nice footwork that can deliver and good ball in the box for Murph to attack. All the other big clubs in the Championship have them and I feel that's something that we lack.

3. Goalkeeper! Dean Gerken is just not consistent enough. He does not command his box at all and he is weak at claiming the ball from set-pieces.

On the flip side of that, he has made some brilliant saves and some quality goalkeeping to keep Ipswich in matches although I feel we need a slightly better goalie who is young and has good reflexes.

Although I have said this, we will not be getting a new goalie as Mick McCarthy thinks Gerks has been "outstanding" which I personally disagree with but i suppose everyone has opinions!

4. We have too many weak players in our team. The likes of Jay Tabb, Stephen Hunt, SEB, Frank Nouble, Scott Loach and even Paul Taylor and Anthony Wordsworth to some extent are just not good enough to wear a mighty Ipswich town top. We need to get rid of them and bring in better, more consistent quality players.

5. Money! I feel Marcus Evans gave the money to the wrong people (Roy Keane/Paul Jewell). I feel that although Aaron Cresswell has been a great player for this club I feel if we sold him, we could replace him with Tyrone Mings and then have £4 million to spend on other quality players.

These our just my opinions. I am praying to God that next season will be our season.

That is obvious from the start. Really all you need is a list of statements with corroborating facts or opinions. The opinions (unless stated otherwise) can only be yours as you are the one writing the blog. Having said that. Good effort. However, It's not that easy to find quality players for free. Considering that that is what MM is going to have to do again. Getting rid of Taylor, Nouble, Tabb, Loach, Gerken, Wordsworth and anyone else would mean that they would leave us desperately short. We are being linked with mediocre players from sides being relegated. All we really need is a couple of quality additions. A striker and a midfielder. Oh and keep Taylor, Wordsworth, Nouble, Gerken, Loach and Tabb. They all offer something at this level.

I agree with most points would personally keep Taylor and Wordsworth as think both could add something to the team in this league given the luxury of a run in the team afforded to others ,but agree with getting rid of wages for Nouble, Tabb , SEB, Hunt and not going back for Green . Also feel we need a better number 1 with Gerken as back up cost us a number of points last year . I would be desperate to keep hold of Cresswell also , Mings is ok but will never create as much as Cressy and all of the money would not go back into players , believe it would only weaken us
