Will officially be my shortest commute to a game ever. Twenty minutes and two stops on the train.
For anyone up early or staying up for the evening...may I suggest Newark as a good spot for food and beers. It's not a bad place to park up and get train to Lincoln either...that place can be a nightmare getting in and out of with traffic.

Castle Cuisine (BYOB curry house)

Trumped me on the distance front. It's a pretty poorly designed city traffic flow wise...park at Newark Northgate station and get on train would be better bet. | |

With regards getting to Newark, the last train leaves at 22;26 which is a two coach job. So suggest if you come to stay over you get B&B or hotel, which can be fairly reasonable price.
I good plan which some away support do (if they stay over) is to do a pub crawl down from the top of town (by the castle and Cathedral) to the ground. Which is down steep hill, I would not recommend trying it on the way back.

Itfbcw you can get the 21:40 train, but that wont get you into Ipswich until 07:10 in the morning, but the good part you will be home ready to start work. | | | |
