Look at going from Kings Cross via Cambridge. From central London it's definitely the best option but it might not work for you.

The other issue I have is the line into London from Romford (TFL rail) is also on works separate to the GA line during this time.
So to get into London I have to go from an underground station such as Elm Park. Which means I'd have to go:
- Bus to Elm Park
- Elm Park to London Kings cross on tube
- Kings cross to Cambridge
- Cambridge to scum
All by about half 10
Unfortunately it's probably easier for me doing the 7:40 Newbury Park bus replacement to within.
Yeah it's gonna be a slug. Funnily enough, Villa and Barnsley away are easier from February onwards than home games for me. | |

Yes, that isn't really a solution. Busses from Newbury Park will probably be ok at that time, it's the slow crawl back down the A12 on a Saturday evening that makes it really crap. | |
