There was a time that the club paid massive for players like Chopra and Priskin. They were championship players before they got here. Mick has done good in the market when you think about the funds he has been managing. Very little to spend.
What I dont understand is why the club almost only buy players who are already in the UK or Ireland. Why not go out searching for talent elswere? Chech republic, Ukraine, Russia, Ivory Coast, Paraguay, Brazil or anywere else. When players are already in the UK the become very expensive. |  |
