You mean the season in the second division when we had as many matches in Europe as some clubs have had in their entire history?

facts wrong about sereni as well. Marshall didn't replace him, it was initially the other way round as Marshall got injured a week before the season started and Burley panicked.

Could have done with both of them injured in hindsight. Has there been a worse kicker of the ball than Marshall? Forrest wasn't great, but Marshall could barely reach halfway.

sereni was actually a good keeper, the fee was the bizarre thing as he really had no great track record with sampdoria and various loans up until then
