Boxing and or MMA aside, the reason why the UK chaps might suffer is down to alcohol. The Russian guy stated when talking about the day of the fights etc that they don't touch a drop. Instant advantage. |

I predict the fear of football violence in Russia 2018 will be hyped to fever pitch in the 12 months prior to the World Cup. Many fans (particularly from the UK) will stay away and the tournament, some beered-up fans that do go will complain about occasional Russian officials' heavy handedness, there'll be a minor scrap between two neighbouring countries like Croatia and Serbia but all will generally pass without major incident.
