On Sunday, BlueInBrum and I wandered the streets of Camden looking for a pub in which to watch the Nodge game and drink off our respective hangovers (mine was worse, I think, though his was the accumulation of a couple of sessions). The pub in Mornington Crescent which was listed on TWTD as a suggested establishment was too busy, as the landlord seemed hellbent on stuffing the Town contingent into the back room, and keeping AtTheRaces on in the bar area for his regular 'punters'. Anyway, on our travels, we noticed that the Jewish Museum, on Albert Street, was manned by a security guard. We almost sighed in unison. Has anyone recently had a similar experience? | |
