Is like a man who's picked up a bees nest, hoping to have some honey.
But there are also bees, angry bees, who have swarmed forth and started to sting.
He could drop the nest and run, but then he would get no honey and have been badly stung for nothing. Not to mention looking a fool.
He could stop and extract the honey, but that would mean standing still and accepting an even worse stinging while he works. Tho he's likely to have honey to enjoy afterwards.
Or he could simply run around with the nest in his arms, swatting at the bees, trying to limit the stings, suffering the pain for no gain.
What will he do? How long can he hold on?

I'd say us fans would prefer him to either stop and extract the honey or pass the nest to someone else who has the right equipment to get at the honey.
At the moment it feels like he's running away with the nest in his arms, attempting to swat the bees in the direction of the support.
