In amongst all the moaning/despondency and general disappointment with the club, and people deciding to stop going to any more games, as well as the upsetting awful situation in London yesterday, I'm pleased to be able to give some very good news...
I had a call from Oliver's Dad on Tuesday with the results from the scans he underwent last Friday and on Monday, and the news they were given was brilliant.
He has asked me to post the following:
Result of scans: There is no evidence of reoccurrence.
It's the best possible outcome we could have expected.
Oliver and family would like to thank everyone on TWTD and your messages helped get us through some horrid moments.
We can't wait to lead the team out and cheer on the boys x
That will be on Easter Monday - against Newcastle. It would be great to have a full stadium to cheer on Oliver as he leads the team out and show that as a bunch of fans, we can fully support something when we're given reason to do so. So, for those that have said they don't want to go to any more games this season, could you perhaps make one exception, and make that day a day to remember for years to come... Do it for Oliver...!
