Difficult, complex area if mental illness/personality disorder and/or brainwashing are playing a part, but "just following orders" is clearly no excuse for such evil acts - targeting innocent chidren/young people is so beyond the pale that anybody with one atom of empathy with fellow humans would recoil in revulsion from the thought. (Which is what I meant when I said that Hindley and Brady were evil). |
Basically, they're conditioned to hate. Difficult to understand why people can set out to manipulate their fellow men/women in this way, but I suppose if you believe you're fighting a war, then anything goes.

as youll will see, rommy and i were posting regular updates on here last night.
i think rommy must have insomnia and frankly ive not slept properly since my op.
but as the OP-er. ill respond.
firstly, this act of what is now confirmed as suicide bombing (but was very unclear initially) last night - is sicknening. to target children is a cowardly act. i can only hope that the bomber themselves died in terrible pain, and the shame of their act lives on in their families for enternal history. i cannot find words to express how horrible this is to be honest. im sure we are all feeling like that
secondly, a lot of people (including myself) were posting links. this wasnt meant as a "look how sick it is" . rommy certainly wont have meant that at all - to suggest he did that is moronic. he's a kid himself - but ignoring that fact - it was just another link to what is being shown on a rolling film on pretty much every news outlet. it is public knowlegdge
now there is the argument of "whats it doing on twtd" - well firstly its in the general section not football. secondly its in its own thread clearly marked re : the subject and thirdly, you'd have to click to play it. so actually you'd only see it if you WANTED to see it.
and it really is as simple as that. there was no malice here. lets not turn against eachother today.
children have died needlessly - it doest matter if you are single, a parent or whatever. we should be united in grief - otherwise, its what these b****ds would have wanted - for us to be split over it.

I saw the same 'trial by facebook' thing with a an accused rapist. After a week, it was realised that he was actually not the right person at all but his name had been shared hundreds of times. Was in Romford recently.
In other news.. statement at 2:40. I hope the number hasn't risen but I'd be surprised if not. The number of kids unaccounted for right now on twitter is awful. Dozens of pictures of youngsters going viral where they have yet been found. |

Still people's picture being circulated on twitter that have yet to be found which is sad. Hopefully they are in a hotel but there's still 3 or 4 of the 20 I'd seen earlier who have yet been found |
