Exactly the same. Stopped listening to him when he teamed up with the geordie lass off the FL show. She just seemed particularly dim and annoyed the hell out of me. Haven't tuned back in since. He's on the same time as Frank Skinner on Absolute, as well.
Used to love his brief stint on Radio 1, strangely enough. |  |

I get the impression his appearance in the jungle and the recent tour were the retirement fund. He's always liked Americasince I remember so not surprised they are off there. |  |

He did speak quite a bit about the Jungle Experience, said he had always wanted to do it and had turned them down every year until last year knowing he wanted to call it a day.
Interestingly, when they do the bush tucker trials, they sort of make out they are over a bridge and in a clearing. He said they were put in jeeps and taken 2 or 3 hours drive away. The trials are done in front of dozens of people and they stop and cut and retake where needed.
Also said that there is no animal wildlife around the camp whatsoever. He mentioned looking at the lighting at night and you don't see a moth, fly or anything, he seemed to think they must completely blitz the area before they get there and is certain that rats or snakes that do appear are probably controlled/tame/trained..
Some really good anecdotes, his Dad sounds like a real character, the series he done about him with Peter Kaye is actually dumbed down to some of the stuff he got up to by all accounts.
