My now wife fainted just before the start of the game, so we were taken out of Churchmans, and watched the game from the St.John's ambulance dug out. I would argue that beating Barcelona 3-0 at Portman Road was even better. Ref cheated us out of the return at the Nou Camp. We were 3-0 when Mariner"scored" , and the ref brought play back , and awarded us a free kick which came to nothing. Then they scored to make it 4-3 on aggregate.

Yer, i was there with the old man and a few other family members, was just a kid. Its probably helped me get through the last 30 plus years of mediocrity

Until we played them I don't think they had lost an European match at their ground.. They were perceived as invincible.
Then ITFC happened. We were the best team in Europe that year!
