Steijn is an interesting prospect, but now with PL I think we've struck a bit of proven managerial gold. Though I'd love for us to get that Dutch connection back, and maybe some more from the North-East too. Enough Yorkshiremen! | |

I can tell you as a fact that the first time he was linked with Ipswich he was excited and wanted to be our manager. My source - His next door neighbour. I was in Holland near Den Haag. One of my dutch coaching friends over there (his neighbour) could not wait to tell me. Was beside himself with the news and literally was like an excited kid telling me! Thought he was gonna wet himself on the spot.
