In other seasons I agree but this season what is the point of it we are never going to win it. It’s not like if we made it to the 3rd round and got drawn away to Man Utd we’d have a great away day or if we got a decent side at home we wouldn’t be there buzzing our t1ts off.

I thought one small morsel of comfort at dropping to this godforsaken level of football at least we could have a bit of an FA Cup run seeing we're probably one of the best teams in the draw at rounds one and two. Can't even do that, they took it seriously and played their strongest team and we put a second string out. Why? Only a Papa John's game this midweek.
It does seem to be some sort of club policy to get us out of any cup competition as early as possible in the last decade. |  |
