Nice to see some XTC and Bill Nelson in there!
Yeah, XTC were pretty cool and very much underrated. I've just been reading a bit about Andy Partridge this morning as it happens. He always had a problem with the demons.
My favourite albums could constantly change but Animals will always be number 1.
That will never change
“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”

He used to get stage fright didn't he? They certainly didn't play live much.

Saw them twice, once at the Hammersmith Palais and once at the Hammersmith Odeon. Have to say I was a bit underwhelmed each time and have noted Partridge's issues with not enjoying performance too much and a later life revelation that the Valium he was prescribed with at twelve years old for 'hyperactivity' was unnecessary. Anyway, on with albums that I think are fantastic:
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells KIng Creosote and Jon Hopkins - Diamond Mine The Doors - LA Woman Mogwai - The Hawk is Howling Greasy Truckers Party 17 Hippies - Heimlich The Costello Show - KIng of America Joe Jackson - Night and Day
Tom Robinson Band Power in the Darkness. Kate Bush The Kick Inside. Adam and the Ants Kings of the Wild Frontier. Black Sabbath Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Wilko Johnson Roger Daltry Going Back Home. Paul Weller Wild Wood. Paul Weller Stanley Road. Airbourne Black Dog Barking. Ry Cooder Bop Till You Drop, JJ Cale Shades. Wishbone Ash Argus. T Rex Electric Warrior.
We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub.
