We wore it for Joe Royle's first match in charge of Manchester City. Kit Symons scored after 5 mins before we staged a second half fight back to win 2-1.
We also won 3-2 at West Brom in it thanks to late goals from Dyer and Cundy.
The first time we wore it was the first game of the 1996-97 season, also against Manchester City. Kevin Horlock scored the only goal for City.

I wish we'd stop changing them every season. It's very damaging to the environment to keep producing new sets of kits. 2-3 years per shirt should be an FA rule, stop milking the kids parents. Shamed that Ipswich joined this. |  |
