Quintets - inspired by Phil's thread on 21:30 - Jun 9 by Keno
Not according to my mate Barry who saw them live in Clapham and announced they were crap and wouldn’t last
I first saw them at the Gaumont. 4th on the bill behind The Everlys, Little Richard and Bo Diddley. At that stage they weren’t suited to a theatre rathe r than a club.

AC/DC Deep Purple Maiden Radiohead Pink Floyd (briefly for their second album, so not when they it the big time) G'N'R in the early days and their breakthrough album Appetite for Destruction Oasis while they were megastars in the 90s Genesis Alice in Chains New Order Aerosmith U2 even started as a five piece but before their first album
The list goes on and on.
Difficult to choose. My favourites at different times (and depending on mood) will have been GNR, Marillion, Floyd, ACDC, Maiden, Oasis.
