Walton's heel ? 09:05 - Jan 26 with 2353 viewsWickets

Phil's report says Woof's goal line clearance went out off the post but i think it came out off Walton's heel that was in the air behind him as he stumbled forward ? Goes down as a save in my book if a bit lucky ! Phil ?

Watching it on tele it looked like it hit the post, but the guys on commentary said someone looked more closely and it was actually a save by Walton.

The ball definitely went off the heel - nowhere near the post

Definitely his heel.

Walton saved the one that hit the post in the first half too, it looked a very obvious foul that the ref was a little slow to give.

Yes, that’s how I viewed it too. It’s a save, but I’m not too convinced he knew too much about it.

It might well have been, definitely was a late decision though. And a save.

I thought it hit the post on live viewing, but the replay clearly shows a save by Walton.

Was difficult to see, but definitely looked like the post at the time. However, this seems to confirm it was a scorpion kick from Walton.

Watching last night it looked a funny angle to be coming off the post but nonetheless that's the version my brain accepted.

It's a clear as day there though. Wonder save!

Doesn't it need to be heading into the goal to count as a save?

from how I saw it I dont think it was a save. The ball was cleared and was going wide of the goal, his flick actually brought it out of danger and back into the mixer!

I thought is was heading for the corner on the clip above but may well be mistaken.

Quite happy to credit our latest permanent signing though!

Not a save if anything could have been an own goal as Wolf had already cleared it but hit Walton and flew in the opposite direction
