That's really good. I think it would work well as a bit of a rowdy, slightly messy anthem, and would be unique to us (for a while) would it not?
So as I say it's been banging round my head for a day and a bit now though I thought the last two lines of the chorus could be improved.....I think I've done it

I was talking to Stephen Foster (aka Foz), the stadium announcer in the Duke of York last Saturday. Apparently he has no say whatsoever in the music played at the stadium, nor the content shown on the big screen. Nevertheless, assuming we cross the line, he’s hoping that there’ll be some suitable ‘party’ tunes on the set list for Saturday, including this one. He said he’s old enough to remember when it first came out

Not sure youngsters recognise the significance of the date. On this day 61 years ago Ipswich were declared Champions of England. Hopefully at a quarter to three a video will be shown on the big screen.

Blimey, shows the level of detail the club think about - though it feels a like a touch of micro managing. (But now certainly isn’t the time for criticism!)
