This is a long shot. Unfortunately, the family tortoise ‘George’ who has been with us since the early 1950s and estimates on his age is to around 100 years old now has been lost in the Heath Road/Heath Lane and Foxhall Road areas. (I don’t want to be road specific as he can seriously move quickly)

If you do find him, a small monetary reward will come your way.

It’s a real shame, but he’s a great escapologist. Neighbours saw him, but he evaded capture very quickly so we know he is loose.

Does he have a magic carpet?

Does Johnathan Douglas still live next door to you, by the way?

Seriously, good luck. I hope the young fella turns up safe and sound.

If it helps. I live in north-east Ipswich and I've just seen my brown tortoise head.

If you can't find the tortoise, look for a resting hare...
Possibly tried the nearest shell filling station?
