Yup, I completely agree but it looks like they're just going to slot Lawrence in at three.

Thought Jonny was much improved in the 2nd test, but still miss the security of having a specialist keeper like Foakes in there. I wonder what changes/if any they will make to the bowling line up. I would like to see Wood or Woakes given a go, perhaps even Ahmed, although might be a bit much to chuck him into a must win test.

I wouldn't be remotely surprised to see Woods come in if he's fit, and that extra pace could make a world of difference for us. Just got to hope he lasts the Test if he does.

I do fancy us to win the next one.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Lawrence is not a bad thing, he bowls really quirky legspin that could be useful as well as being in form with the bat

Wood is likely to come in if fit, probably for Tongue, although he did take 5 wickets in his first proper Test. I would leave out Anderson, who has been totally innocuous in the first 2 Tests despite favourable bowling conditions & has taken 3-226. I doubt Headingley is the pitch for Ahmed & Moeen may come in for Pope if he is fit to bowl & England need a better spin option than Root. I would rather Foakes had the gloves, but Bairstow seems to want to keep & is favoured by Stokes.
