Both Hirst and Taylor are top line signings more than capable of standing out in this division.
Hutchinson already beginning to shine in cup ties and Scarlett will do the same and more as the season goes on, in my opinion.
This coupled with the fact that we could be in a position to add one or two more in January, gives us a good chance of at least top half , maybe better. |  | | |  |

The fees for the likes of Stewart and Simms are way over the top.

What we need to realise is that chances are players we rate other managers will rate also. Better to see where we are come Christmas and then if necessary make a signing or two. I would imagine that some of the signings made by other Championship clubs would have tipped us over the fair play rules. The business done I would rate as 7/8 out of ten. | | | |
