You seem to be focussing in the NHS rather than the entity that owns the NHS to suit your retort. If he didn’t spend so long moaning about the authoritarian stance of our government it would be a non talking point but the fellow regularly does whilst being paid by said government. You seem to be equating these two things, am I right?: -
1. Working for the NHS (which ultimately comes under the control of the UK Government), providing health care to those who require it, etc.
2. Kicking a ball about for vast sums of money for a football team financed/controlled by the Saudi regime, ultimately in aid of propaganda for said regime.
