Isn't a bit of free hit? All he has to do is get them 19th/20th and everyone will know he has done all he can with what he has. The loon owner will then sack him at the end of the season expecting a playoff position and he'll move onto something better. |  | | |

No doubt he will use his connections at RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich (possibly Southampton too) to get a few kids on loan in January. Whether they'd be enough to keep them up, god knows, but that'll certainly be the route he goes I imagine.
Good appointment from them though, albeit one they should've got in the summer rather than Xisco. |  |

My initial thought is that Chansiri has looked at the success of McKenna and thought how he can copy what we have done. However, the clubs his man has learnt at are not the same level as McKenna and it is as much about the right character as the background. I know nothing about this German so whether he is the right character. However, he certainly isn't going to be backed like McKenna has been. |  |

With respect, I’d suggest two champions leagues teams and the German national team mean that on paper (and I stress, on paper) his ‘level’ is at a higher level than McKenna’s at the same stage of their development. | | | |
