It’s amazing to note that an until the first Nodge goal, Rowe was having an absolute mare. Misplaced passes, nearly played us in for a goal. Funny old game.. it’s basically concentration that’s cost us today

Reminiscent of Bali Mumba when Plymouth visited last season - abysmal until he scored. However, I bet they wish he was still around now.

I'm amazed Norwich let him go, do they really have any better full backs than him?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

If they do, they decided not to pick them today

Their striker, Idah was invisible. Only noticed him when he was subbed. Poor man's Bajner.

Think Rowe managed two meaningful touches and they both ended up in our net.

Agreed. He had a stinker other than the goals. Even Sara was non existent and didn't effect the game at all.

Their first goal really was atrocious defending from us. I suppose you can give the budgie credit for crossing the ball back in so quickly but for nobody to pick up Rowe… criminal.

I'd blame Burgess and Davis. No idea what they were doing standing in the middle, marking no one, which dragged Woolfenden across to Idah.

I’ve watched the first half back so far and with a tad more composure in front of goal, we’d have been out of sight. Even amoeba Sutton admitted that. Oh well.

Why is hirst not being mentioned for his awful defending for their 2nd?

Much is being said about the first. Clarke. Wolfy. Now this about davis and Burgess. But nothing being said about a player who if a prem game would have given away a pen for not even looking at the ball as it was thrown.

Hurst has been great lately but I was saying the same about his defending just before they scored.

He had his back to the ball and was solely intent on just obstructing the player he was marking.

To be fair, he was laying offside on the floor.

We don't really seem to man mark players in those situations, happened a few times this season now, always conceding a goal, to make me think its tactical rather than our players keep switching off who they are meant to be covering

The players did the right thing. They stepped up, leaving Rowe offside.
If the lino and ref did their job correctly - no goal.
I'm not blaming any of our players for the first goal.
The second was more frustrating, but without Leif's deflection, Vaz saves that.
We did more than enough to win the game, but we didn't.
That's how it goes.
Personally I'm just glad we didn't lose and we can move on.
I didn't really enjoy the game as I was too wrapped up in the derby thing.
We've got bigger games to come.
2 draws from the next two will do me fine.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

People would rightly slam a defender for playing a prone player onside by marking him when he's lying on the floor, as a cross comes in. Absurd.
