Who writes this stuff?

I know an Ecuadorian fella from work. He reckons Jezza is massively popular with the ladies out there, and everyone knows him because of what a stud he is.

The more you know, the team of shaggers that we have just keeps increasing.

While it's not a huge faux pas as far as I'm concerned, I think it reflects poorly on him and hardly reflects our supposed club ethos, especially with a kid in tow. I'm surprised there hasn't been more made of it - perhaps once he's returned. New motto - running towards strippers.

The Beano ? Owned by those arch exploiters, D.C. THomson of Dundee.

And, yes, of course I will back that up with a link:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DC_Thomson

'Thomson was notable for his conservatism, vigorously opposing the introduction of trade unions into his workforce, and for refusing to employ Catholics.'

So there.

Nowhere in the article does it say that Sarmiento was in a strip club. He is pictured in the TAO restaurant which does have a nightclub but no strippers in either. Apparently it is a place where rich and famous go and nothing ontoward there. Might be better to comment on what he actually did.

The headline is literally "Ecuador threaten to axe senior stars after they took £17m Chelsea wonderkid Kendry Paez, 16, to New York strip club". However, if Sarmiento stayed in the restaurant part, it would show better judgement from him.

Read the article. Only two senior Ecuadorian players were blamed for taking the younger players to a strip club and Sarmiento wasn't amongst them. Hence my first reply to the thread.
