Against Bolton during last season's run-in. Walton saved it.

Would we be here on 14:04 - Apr 4 with 2070 views | _clive_baker_ | Its a game of small margins isn't it. That penalty you mention felt like a big moment at the time, Bolton were causing us a few problems and it was a pretty clumsy tackle by Burgess. They miss, we go on to win and the rest, as they say, is history. Ladapo bundling the ball home against Cardiff at home sticks in my mind for some reason. Bounced us back from the Leeds defeat, do we then go on that ridiculous run up to WBA without it? Who knows. All teams can point to such moments I guess. The league table doesn't tend to lie at the end of the season, 46 games is a decent enough sample size.

Mine was Brighton away when they used to play on the running track (I forget its name) finished 1-1 but Kuqi, who had an open goal to put it into near the end, stuck it over. Finished 3rd and you know the rest.

If you mean in 2004-05, not even a win would have been enough for us that day – Wigan's goal difference was way ahead of ours.

If we're bringing Van Nistelrooy into it we should also mention Ian (spit) Harte.

Shefki Kuqi being put out of action for some time via Dion Dublin's studs to his thigh. Vs Leicester early 2005. Think we were the first team in forever to be top at Christmas and not be promoted. When he eventually returned from injury Kuqi never quite found the same form he had been on in that run.
