I actually think their cup run cost them. They played a good game tonight, its a shame to see so many empty seats though.

Is there any stats on the beach theory. I think catching up games in hand is a bigger issue than the beach. I would be more concerned that the team you wanted to beat your rival was on a 5 games in 12 days than they were on the beach. Southampton proving my point, whilst Cov didn't look like they were on the beach tonight.
The stats would be interesting.

Thought Coventry were a credit to themselves on and off the pitch - we’d be delighted if they put in that performance on our behalf and we did really well to get through.

I nipped out to Tesco Extra after the game to get some 'calm the feck down' beers. I don't drink at home hardly ever and certainly not on a 'school night' but I needed something. I was a mess.
