Sadly I think you are right, I hope not. VAR is pointless, ruins the essence of football. It needs to go.

Sky love the theatre and jeopardy, no way they'll allow it to disappear. Maybe some minor tinkering but it's not going to go away.

Aye, until we get relegated by a penalty awarded for a blatant dive. Actually, we won’t get relegated. Change that until we miss out on a European place due to a dodgy pen.

If enough clubs look like they might vote in favour of Wolves motion then some tinkering might be all it needs. 1. If the offside is so tight, lines need to be drawn, then it's onside. 2. Ban the use of slow motion and rewind in VAR. VAR officials can only watch the incident in real time, at actual speed from no more than 2 different angles. The decision made should support the referee to get the correct decision by being a 2nd pair of eyes. Not a forensic examiner. 3. In cases that could affect the game - Penalties, Sending Offs, etc. etc the referee should watch the screen, with the VAR official, using the same rules as in No.2, (No rewind, no slow-mo, 2 angles only at normal speed) and make his or her decision based upon the same that a stadium audience can see. Then the match official has the final say, not a VAR official, potentially 200 miles away. [Post edited 16 May 0:13]
