Just read in the Times (so must be true) that Diego Costa has been offered Â£570,000 pw by a Chinese Club.

This means he would earn as below - based on a 7 day working week:

- Â£81,428 per day
- Â£10,178 per hour (based on an 8 hour day)
- Â£169 per second (based on an 8 hour day)

Of course, these numbers are not as impressive if we assume a 24 hour working day, since they decrease to the levels as below:

- Â£3393 per hour
- Â£56 per second
