I'm going Sturgeon on this one. Just.

Please note: prior to hitting the post button, I've double checked for anything that could be construed as "Anti Semitic" and to the best of my knowledge it isn't. Anything deemed to be of a Xenophobic nature is therefore purely accidental or down to your own misconstruing.

Not that it should surprise anyone. It's a racist, misogynist, scare-mongering rag, which plays to a world view pulled out of the 1950s.

I'm just relieved that they're leering over women aged over 16 for a change.

2 pairs of tidy pins you ask me. I'd like to negotiate their Brexit. I'd like to discuss their Article 50. Id like to deny them a referendum.
Etc

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

If this was a couple of years ago, and it was Dave and Alex Salmon conducting this meeting, in their shorts, do you think the DM would have run a similar article?

If only they'd offered some clue that they were massively sexist in everything they ever wrote. Next you'll be telling me they once supported Hitler.

The Sun is still the most popular paper in the UK, I'm afraid. The Mail is next, which is bad enough, of course.

Not sure that the balance of views on TWTD will be totally anti-Mail, tbh. There are a lot of right leaning types on here.

'left leaning TWTD'?

Given that the two main complaints on here are 'this place is full of lefty bumfesters' and 'I bet there's loads on here that'll agree with this awful rightwing loon' I reckon the balance is probably around even.

i think those figures are print only (the mail is closing the gap though) - print and online has the mail well ahead.

The print and online operations are entirely different, albeit owned by the same company. For a start, the average Mail print reader is much older than the average Mail Online user. Both are abhorrent, of course, but very different.

The Sun, of course, had a paywall strategy for years which has massively hindered its audience growth.

Does down-voting this post mean
a. that you dislike the post, therefore disagree that its a "massive fail by the Mail"?
b. that you dislike the Daily Mail, therefore agree with the OP?

Can't believe people still buy newspapers. They'll be gone by 2030.

Oddly enough the Mail has the largest female readership of any UK daily paper.

The Mail are master trolls. They knew the snowflakes would all melt over this. Look at this thread.

It's genius.
