Postponed this mornings cabinet meeting, now Sky are reporting that Queens speech, scheduled for Monday is likely to be delayed.
Suppose they have to agree with DUP what is included and what isn't. This is going to persuade Junckers and his friends to be awkward in negotiations next week with the Conservative & Unionist, Negotiations Team.
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
I suspect any chance Junckers gets to be difficult and nick a bit of the UK finance industry will be gleefully accepted. Don't forget he's the king of his own tax haven

Don't. Given her habit of repeating meaningless soundbites I'm not actually convinced that she isn't some kind of robot in a skin suit that's been programmed with a a few simple stock phrases rather than an actual human.
I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

But she's brought this on herself, by all accounts she a nasty piece of work, which is why a number of Tories are delighted with her demise.
As she said to the female Perm Sec at the Home Office, 'there's only room for one woman at the top of this organisation', before shuffling Dame Helen off to the National Trust.
Theresa May said there will NOT be a coalition of CHAOS. She has TODAY agreed a 'confidence' deal with the The Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) Here is a list of DUP stances, in case you need a reminder:
The DUP want to make it legal to discriminate against anyone from the LGBT community.
The DUP want children to be taught creationism as scientific fact.
The DUP want no woman to have access to any type of abortion, and furthermore criminalise anyone offering or seeking that service.
The DUP want to bring back the death penalty Theresa May should RESIGN. This is a disgusting, desperate attempt to stay in power. This petition will be delivered to: 10 Downing Street

Sounds familiar.

I would imagine they are re writing the manifesto to take out thing's like the Social Care policy and means tested winter fuel payments.
If there is an election in October they are going to need the grey vote again.
Sounds like pressure from the centrists.

Oh god please no more elections please.

One of the reasons for the delay is also believed to be because the speech has to be written on goat's skin parchment paper, which takes a few days to dry - and the Tory negotiations with the DUP mean it cannot be ready in time.
Have they got anything of substance they want to keep in and has a fighting chance of getting through the house (apart from Brexit)? Serious question.
I can't see there being an election any time soon. We've got at least 18 months of this.
The Social Care policy was probably the only thing of substance in the manifesto, whether you agree with it or not.
If they are sensible they will come back with contrition in order to win back the greys and their middle aged children who saw their inheritance being taken from them whilst at the same time acknowledging that the youth vote sent them a message and com e up with a few sweeties for them.
It all depends whether they have on eye on an early election or not.
If Osborne was still involved he would have thought of something that people wouldn't have been expecting which would blindside Labour but unless Gove has a contribution then I don't see anybody bold enough to do so.
The cabinet are probably holding a pistol to May's head as they dictate the new Queen's speech to her.

I think she's got to wait for the DUP to write up their list of non-negotiable demands on stone tablet. I believe they are using brimstone
I'd imagine that their desire to see climate change denialism hit the political agenda will have appeased by appointment of the expert phobic Gove to the Department of Environment.
As for the rest of it, I imagine it sounds something like this:
