I doubt he'll win ahead of either Rak-Sakyi or Mumba but shows how much of an impact he had, especially during the injury crisis in the midfield. The managerial category is about right too, although there's an argument for Michael Duff to be in there.

Manager of the year = Too three managers Player of the year = Top scorer, top assist maker and then Sky Sports’ golden boy. No defenders in that list? Our defence has just gone 2 months without conceding a goal, has the best defence stats in every category and contains the leagues second highest assist maker?!

Say, for argument's sake, Bristol Rovers go on an amazing run over their final seven games, get into the playoffs, and then go on to win the playoffs, there'd be a huge case for Barton to be amongst the nominees. It's an extreme example, but surely so much can happen over the course of the next month to completely change the picture? [Post edited 11 Apr 2023 12:47]

Leif Davis should be in there ahead of Aaron Collins I reckon. Joint best assist record and part of the joint best defence. The only reason he's not is because full backs never get awards. Schumacher will almost certainly win the manager of the year, deservedly so. I'd have Duff in second with either McKenna or Moore third.
