Reading game EFL Cup round 2 23:56 - Aug 18 with 1052 viewsTommy_ITFC

Why did they change the time from 19:45 KO to 20:00 of we are not on sky? Rather random change in my opinion.

All midweek home games for Reading kick off at 8pm, due to the locality of the nearby retail park. See also Bolton.

Thanks. From what I've seen Boltons home midweek matches (such as their league cup round 2 fixture vs Middlesborough) kick off at 19:45?

The whole point of out of town stadia is to take them and the fans away from the busy town centres to avoid all the traffic and congestion. So Reading build the Madejski stadium, then put a retail park next door and decide that the matches can't kick off until 8 pm?

Anyway, we seem to be leaving it late to put the tickets on sale. Maybe ITFC are trying to reduce the no of fans just buying to get the priority point and then sell the ticket.

Town centres aren't busy any more. Retail parks are.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
