U18s Draw With Foxes Sunday, 2nd Sep 2007 11:20 Town's U18s drew 1-1 with Leicester City at Playford Road on Saturday morning. Striker Craig Calver, a first-year scholar, scored for the Blues. Amongst Town's top performers was Jack Ainsley playing in an unfamiliar centre-half role. Ollie Fenn, last season's winner of the Harold Smith Award for the Most Promising Academy Player, was in match action for the first time this season after a summer bout of shingles. Midfielder Jai Reason was back after an ankle ligament innury sustained in pre-season. Meanwhile, the U16s lost their game 3-1, Jordan Pavett putting Town in front early on before the visitors hit back with three goals in 15 second half minutes.
