I would go along with Marcus Stewart, followed by Martyn Reuser and Matt Holland and then Pablo...still have a mug bought for me during his first spell!!!

So many to choose from: Finidi George, Amir Karic, Drissa Diallo, Sam Parkin

But Bloots has summed it up. Stewart was outstanding for 2-3 seasons, Holland gave us 6 wonderful years but only 3 of those were in the 00's. So for consistency of performance over the ten years it has to be either Magilton or Wilnis.

Wilnis gets the nod from me. 1999-2008 and whilst he was maybe not always the best player on show, heloved the club and always gave his best regardless of the position he was asked to play.

Oh, I forgot the one and only Richard Naylor... for his persistence and the way he converted to centre back

Just to add my view, not really worth it since I'm going to say the same as many other people already have so no-one will read this :-) but in no order it's Walking in our Stewart wonderland, Super Jim, Fabian, and Bam Bam. Ask me this time next year and I'll probably include Jon Walters as well. Move the time frame back a couple of years to the late 90s and you can include Mogga.

Those all qualify and it only took me a few minutes, since I have been a season ticket holder since 199-2000, missed out on the two Premier seasons thanks to the credit card club pushing fans like me out and then again from 2002-03 to present. Those are the players I would recommend for the list, if you asked me for the ultimate winner impact wise it is Marcus Stewart, dedication wise its Jim Magilton/Fabian Wilnis/Richard Naylor.

Actually thats not anywhere near half of our playing staff over the last ten years, those are the players who have stood out and made a valid contribution to our team.

Stewart and Holland.

Noticable mentions: Fab, Jim, Hermann and Alun Armstrong for those goals against Inter (not general play throughout his spell!)

Well, like everyone else here I can honestly say that I got far more pleasure from the period Jan 2000 to May 2001 than from the rest of this wretched decade put together, so I would go for Stewart, Reuser, Holland as my top three. I could watch the Playoff Highlights and the 2000/01 Highlights a dozen times over and not get bored.

Players who sum up the decade? Santos, Diallo, Parkin, Marshall, Dinning, Fish, but the Overall Winner, Player Who Sums Up This Ipswich Decade: Finidi Effing Georgeā€“no contest at all.

For loyalty and dedication to the cause Fab and Super Jim

But for shear impact cannot look past Marcus Stewart with an honourable mention for Rooooooooooooser Premiership!

What criteria are people judging this on? A right full back who "turned up a lot" but CONTRIBUTED LITTLE to any success perhaps sums up just what a lacklustre decade this has been. And sorry, but from my experience Wilnis isn't such a nice bloke.

Never met De Vos, but I don't recall him being such a fans favourite when he was playing either - same with "Magic" Jim.

Marcus Stewart was a genunie contributor, as was Darren Bent. It would have to be a forward player, as neither midfield and defense has shown solidity since John Wark retired.

I know they didn't play too manay seasons in the 00's but what about Mark Venus and Tony Mowbray? Overall I would have to say Jim is up there but Marcus Stewart's goals for his first season the premiership was an outstanding achievement and really put uss back on the map.

Also why would anyone consider Dos Santos? a handful of games and what did he actually contribute? I don't think he reads this web site so for those sucking up to him, don't get your hopes up. Sorry guys.
