Kennedy in Strong Squad for Bury
Wednesday, 28th Jul 2010 17:09

New signing Mark Kennedy is set to make his first appearance for the Blues in this evening’s friendly at Bury Town (KO 7.45pm). Kennedy, whose £75,000 move to Portman Road was confirmed this afternoon, will be in a strong squad also including Brian Murphy, Grant Leadbitter, Gareth McAuley, Carlos Edwards and Jon Walters.

David Norris misses out with a back problem but Town hope the midfielder will be back when the Blues face West Ham at Portman Road on Saturday.

A decent buy - cover for Luca & O'Connor - and has the experience of playing in a play-off final, etc.

Peanuts for an experienced pro. Result.
